Sensei Jeff Darrington

Sensei Jeff Darrington started his Karate training when he was 9 years old with Sensei Kenzo Dozono in Brighton Ontario in Shotokan Karate.  He continued his training in Brighton with Sensei Tom Hadwen and added Jiu Jitsu to his skillset while training in Chito Ryu Karate.

Sensei Jeff Darrington was lucky enough to train with such Martial Artists as Sensei Bob Walther, Sensei Monty Guest and Sensei Masami Tsuruoka and his son Sensei David Tsuruoka.

Brighton Martial Arts moved to different locations around Brighton over the years and Sensei Jeff Darrington was able to take on the Club and start working with Sensei Paul Battilana and open a dedicated space.

  

Sensei Paul Battilana


Sensei Paul Battilan started training in karate with he was 15 years old with Don Warrener in Hamilton Ontario. Sensie Paul trains in Goju Ryu as well as traditional Jiu Jitsu. Training with Sensei Warrener made it possible to train with other very highly skilled martial artists from around the world. He received his NiDan ( 2nd Degree) black belt in 1997. After taking a break and going back to school he moved to Brighton and met Jeff Darrington and together opened a dedicated Dojo.
